Terms and Conditions

When you complete your Booking on www.cyberthostelpt.com, you accept these Terms and any other terms that you’re provided with during the booking process.

 

It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms prior to booking a bed/room.

 

If anything in these Terms is (or becomes) invalid or, unenforceable:

 

• it will still be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law,

• you will still be bound by everything else in the Terms.

 

About Us

 

CyberHostel is a company in Portugal, with a registered address Rua D. Pedro de Almeida nº 10B 2805-221 Almada, Portugal and VAT number 220654409. If you would like to contact us in relation to your use of the CyberHostel Site, or in connection with a booking services, please email us at info@cyberhostelpt.com. CyberHostel is not a travel or tour agency, nor is it a supplier of travel services. When you make a booking, you are using the CyberHostel Site and CyberHostel Services.

 

Prices

 

When you make a reservation, you agree to pay the cost of your stay, including any charges and taxes that may apply. VAT is included.

 

Reservation and Payment

 

Payment is made at check-in.

 

CyberHostel considers it necessary, we may request payment in advance:

 

• of the amount of the first night, or the total amount of the reservation.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

You can cancel free of charge up to 2 days before your arrival date.

 

If you cancel after that or no show, the price of the first night of your reservation will be charged.

Modify or Cancel a Booking

 

You can use the link in the confirmation email to modify or cancel your booking.

 

If you want to cancel a reservation, see the Cancellation Policy above.

 

Check-in

 

You can check-in from 15:00, but you can leave your bags anytime in the hostel and enjoy the city. If the room is available earlier, we will try to advance the entrance.

 

A valid passport or a government-issued identity card with a photo is mandatory to check in.

Check-out

 

You can check-out until 11:30.

 

Please inform reception if you wish to extend your stay. Extensions will be subject to availability and rate at the time of the extension.

Use of rooms and common areas

 

Rest hours between 22:00 and 09:00 must be respected by making as little noise as possible.

Guest’s Belongings and Safety

 

Due to safety reasons, it is not allowed to bring people who are not staying at the hostel into the rooms.

 

The hostel won’t take responsibility for the loss, damage, or theft of money, jewelry, or other valuables items left in the rooms.

 

Maintain the security of the accommodation and its contents during your stay. So don’t, for example, leave the room door and locker unlocked.

Towels

 

All the private rooms have 1 towel/pax included.

Hairdryer

 

A free hairdryer is available in bathroom.

Bedding

 

The hostel provides all the bedding.

Non-Smoking

 

The CyberHostel is a non-smoking establishment.

 

In case of transgression, the guest shall have to leave the premises immediately and no money will be refunded.

Prohibitions

 

All types of parties, loud music or noises that may disturb other guests are prohibited.

 

It is not permitted to walk shirtless, barefoot, in pyjamas or swimwear in common areas.

 

It is forbidden to smoke and consume drugs inside the hostel.

Breakage/damages to the Hostel

 

All the private rooms have 1 towel/pax included.

Admission Criteria

 

All reservations are subject to availability and CyberHostel is entitled to decline any reservation if not seen fit.

Underage Guests

 

Guests traveling with children under the age of 18, have to book a private room or full dorm room to be used only by the child and family or group of people.

 

Children cannot share dorms with strangers.

 

Children under 12 years old are not accepted at the hostel.

Maximum length of stay

 

We do not accept reservations for stays over 14 nights.

Pets

 

Pets are not allowed in the hostel.

Help and advice

 

If you have any questions related to your booking, just contact us.

 

You can help us help you as quickly as possible by providing:

 

• your reservation confirmation number and contact details,

• a summary of the situation you need assistance with, including how you’d like us to help you.

 

Whatever the issue, we’ll try to assist you, and will do what we can to help you.

 

For example: If you want to be in the same room with your friends, but you have booked separately, we’ll do everything possible to accommodate you in the same room.

Group Reservation definition

 

– A reservation with ten (10) or more guests is considered a Group Reservation.

 

– A Group reservation must be made exclusively by email: info@cyberhostelpt.com.

 

– CyberHostel reserves the right to only accept group bookings for a minimum of one (1) night.

Payment

 

Payment of the total amount of the reservation by bank transfer (only after receipt of the amount, the reservation is confirmed).

 

If payment deadlines are not met, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

Cancellation Policy

 

In case of a cancellation, or a partial or total modification of the reservation, the amount paid is non-refundable.

Guest data

 

Up to one week before the check-in date, a list with the details of each member of the group must be sent to the hostel.

Breakfast

 

Not included. If you want breakfast included, please ask for a rate with breakfast when making the reservation request. (Bread, cereals, butter, chocolate, jams, milk, veggie drink, cheese, coffee, tea, orange juice).
